et al. is made by et al Labs, LLC, a small independent software studio run by Kirk Crawford in Baltimore. Kirk has a PhD in human-centered computing and more than ten years of experience in UX design, research, and product management.
et al. stores each reader’s Library on their device by default. With iCloud Sync on, Apple stores a copy in iCloud; et al Labs does not receive it. It is the studio’s first product.
